LP3M UMY In association with Ristekdikti and LSP Quantum HRM Internasional Hosted University Research Reviewer Training

After achieving three stars in the research category of the independent cluster, the Office of Research, Publication, Publishing, and Social Services of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (LP3M UMY) hosted a University Research Reviewer Training on Monday (25/11) at Hotel Alana Surakarta.

The University Research Reviewer Training was hosted in association with the General Directorate of Empowerment and Development of the Research and Training Center of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Ristekdikti) and LSP Quantum HRM Internasional. This event took place from Monday (25/11) and will end on Friday (29/11). The event was opened by the UMY Vice Rector of Academic Affairs.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Ir. Sukamta. S.T., M.T stated that the role of the reviewer is very important and strategic. “The role of a reviewer is very important and very strategic. Therefore, with the holding of the next five days of training which will end with a post-test from LP3M UMY, I hoped that this training can become a starting point for all participants, “he said.

He also added that there are five principles that reviewers must know. “The five reviewers’ principles that need to be known and implemented when you pass are, honesty, integrity, professionalism, independence, and prioritizing quality results,” added Sukamta.

In addition to Sukamta, The Head of the Research Division of LP3M UMY Dr. Dyah Mutiarin, M.Sc. stated that one of the objectives of this activity was to support improvement in the quality of all participants. “The activity, which was held by LP3M UMY in collaboration with Ristekdikti and LSP Quantum HRM International, aims to improve the quality of each participant. This training was attended not only by UMY participants, but also from several State, Private and Muhammadiyah Universities in Indonesia,” she explained.

In addition, she also hopes that the participants can take part in all of the activities thoroughly. “I hope that all participants can take part in all the activities up to the post-test and graduate,” Arin closed. (CDL)
