Different from a last year event, enthusiasm of each university is getting higher. I hope that KRI participants can leverage this moment to enhance teams’ solidarity and discipline,” he stated in a technical meeting on Wednesday (11/7) at the 5th floor of A.R. Fachruddin A of UMY.

Afterwards, Wahidin explained regulations of the KRAI. The participants must obey contest rules and regulations. “The duration of one session is only about five minutes including robot preparation and the match itself. The robot must be 1.5 meters long, 25 kg maximum weigh, and 24 volts tension. If the participants infringe the rules and regulations, they will be disqualified and not be allowed to follow the match,” he asserted.

“At the KRAI category, the twenty four teams are divided into eight groups for the preliminary round. The two best teams of each group will pass to a round of 16. The round of 16 to a final round is an elimination round,” he said.
