Suara ‘Aisyiyah – Suara ‘Aisyiyah Magazine officially launched the Suara‘ Aisyiyah online application. This announcement was conveyed directly by Dra. Siti Noordjannah, Chairperson of PP ‘Aisyiyah and Dr. Adib Sofyan, Chief Editor of Suara ‘Aisyiyah in an online seminar entitled” The Direction and Challenges of Da’wah Media in the Virtual Era “on Saturday (11/07). The seminar was also attended by Prof. Dr. Haedar Nashir as Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah, Abdul Khohar as the Media Group Editorial Board, Dr. Tri Hastuti Noor Rochimah as Secretary of PP ‘Aisyiyah and Twediana Budi Hapsari Ph.D as Head of KPI UMY.
The launching of the Suara ‘Aisyiyah online application is an effort to respond to the challenges of today’s media which continues to develop so that it can reach readers quickly and thoroughly through digital media. The Suara ‘Aisyiyah application is expected to be able to reach wider readers, having previously been accessible only via the Suaraaisyiyah.id official website.
“This application was launched in order to maintain the century-old Suara‘ Aisyiyah reach out to the wider community, especially so that it can be loved by millennials,” said Dra. Siti Noordjannah at the opening of the seminar.
Prof. Dr. Haedar Nashir (Chairperson of PP Muhammadiyah) expressed his support. According to him, to go further in media in the era of technological revolution, one must bring new changes that follow with modern times.
“By bringing the spirit of women forward, the Suara‘ Aisyiyah’s digital product program is an endeavor to care for historical heritage, as an inspiration that will continue to serve as an information center of the ‘Aisyiyah organization itself,” he said.
Dr. Adib Sofyan, Chief Editor of Suara ‘Aisyiyah also stated that with the support of Muhammadiyah and‘ Aisyiyah institutions, they can further develop Suara ‘Aisyiyah to become a professional and quality institution.
This Android-based Suara ‘Aisyiyah application program is a collaboration between Suara‘ Aisyiyah and KPI UMY study program through research and development conducted by Twediana Budi Hapsari, Ph.D as Head of KPI UMY along with the team. “A the oldest female media in Indonesia, Suara Aisyiyah should be able to take more action. The existence of web and online application can be one solution for Suara Aisyiyah to be enjoyed wherever and whenever,” said Twediana.
Twediana added that the digitalization of Suara isy Aisyiyah could also be an opportunity for ‘Aisyiyah to become an alternative media for references on religious issues, especially regarding da’wah to women, not only for organizations but also reaching the community as a whole.
Suara ‘Aisyiyah media has now evolved from print to digital media in the form of web, social media, and applications. The Online Application is now available on PlayStore and can be downloaded for free. (dee)
