It has been D-2 to Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI), and accommodation and transportation division is ready to welcome the participants. “The preparation has been 100% and we are now waiting for signing of Surat Perintah Kerja or Work Order (SPK),” stated one of the members of accommodation and transportation division Triyana, A. Md. in an interview at Career Development Center (CDC) on Tuesday (9/6).

Triyana conveyed that the accommodation division has provided 5 lodgings for 400 participants of KRI. The lodgings are Unires Putra UMY, Novotel Hotel, Putrajaya Hotel, Pangeran Emas Hotel, and Cavinton Hotel. “In Unires Putra, it is provided 25 rooms: 21 rooms for participants that each room is for 4 participants, 2 rooms for Secretariat of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), and the two other rooms for Liaison Officer (LO),” he mentioned.

Triyana inserted that Novotel Hotel located on Jalan Sudirman would be settled by 48 participants, 172 participants would stay at Putra Jaya Hotel in Jalan Peawirotaman, and 100 other participants would be at Pangeran Emas Hotel in Jalan Sisingamangaraja. In addition, Cavinton Hotel is for judges and Dikti. “Each lodging would be accompanied by LO that is responsible for going along with the participants of KRI as checking their presence, informing any coordination regarding mealtime to the hotel party, and getting the participants up lest they come late,” he informed.

 The participants would check-in the lodgings on 11-14 June. “Nevertheless, if the participants could not check-out on 14 June at morning, we have provided additional facility for them at Unires Putra and Novotel Hotel up to 15 June at morning,” he added.

Furthermore, Triyana asserted that the transportation division has prepared well. “We have provided 8 buses to pick the participants up on Thursday in several venues as airport, train station, and bus station from morning to 4 pm,” he uttered.

In order that the participants do not come late in the D-Day, the transportation division has found out the distance from the lodging to the contest venue (Sportotium of UMY). “Checking the distance and time is essential to anticipating traffic jam so that it could be predicted that the participants would not come late,” he ended.
