Civil Law Lecturers of UMY Dedicate a Book for Prof. Ismijatie Jenie

A civil law lecturer of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) presents a book entitled ‘Bunga Rampai Hukum Keperdataan’ for Prof. Dr. Siti Ismijatie Jenie, S.H., C.N. in his 70th birthday celebration at meeting hall of Law Faculty of UMY on Wednesday (10/2).

In a remark, Dean of Law Faculty, Dr. Trisno Raharjo, S.H., M.Hum. stated that Prof. Ismijatie is a law expertise graduating from University of Gadjah Mada. One of the track records of Prof. Ismijatie is that she was engaged in the establishment of Law Faculty of UMY in 2012. Dr. Trisno informed that the book, indeed, was written by nine students of Prof. Ismijatie. “The book is dedicated to their professor (Prof. Ismijatie, ed.),” Trisno told.

The nine students were Hj. Fadia Fitriyanti, S.H., M.Hum., M.Kn., Dewi Nurul Musjtari, S.H., M.Hum., Dr. Leli Joko Suryono, S.H., M.Hum. (Cand.), Dr. H. Mukti Fajar, S.H., M.Hum, Prihati Yuniarlin S.H.,M.Hum., Ahdiana Yuni Lestari, SH.,M.Hum, Wiratmanto, SH., M.Hum, Danang Wahyu Muhammad, SH.,MHum., and Endang Heriyani S.H.,M.Hum.

The book talks about various reviews of civil law. Dr. Trisno conveyed that civil law comprises three laws, namely law of agreement, law of property, and law of inheritance. “The book focuses on those three laws, but each author wrote different topics like international civil law on ASEAN community perception, international food security, agreement between patients and doctors, and agreement of work or institution. The topics were based on the lecturers’ interest,” he said.

Trisno informed that the book would be published for all of law faculties in Indonesia as a reference of civil law. “However, the book will be limited edition, and will not be freely sold since it was meant to be dedicated to Prof. Jamie,” he inserted.
